The Marshall Community Foundation was established more than 50 years ago to ensure the Marshall area remains a wonderful place to live, work and raise a family… not just today, but forever.
We do this by:
- Attracting permanently endowed funds from a wide range of individuals
- Partnering with area non-profits toward success
- Helping our fellow Community members achieve their charitable goals, and being mindful to carry out the intention of our donors.
Hundreds of individuals, families, businesses and organizations have created charitable legacies by establishing funds at the Marshall Community Foundation. We are honored to steward these donations, and grateful to partner with donors to meet their philanthropic goals.
Funds by Type
Unrestricted Funds are established to support the emerging, changing and evolving needs of the community, now and into the future.
Unrestricted Fund. The Fund for Marshall was established in 1985 to support the emerging, changing, evolving needs of the community now and in the future. In 1993 through 2002, Named Funds were established within the Fund for Marshall, commemorating the lives of those who donated a permanent gift of $3,000 or more.

The Dr. Lynne Haley Memorial Fund was established in October 2023 by the MCF board of trustees in memory of Lynne, a long time board member and beloved member of the Marshall Community. Lynne served on the MCF board of trustees for 20+ years and was always working for the betterment of her community. Through this unrestricted fund, the Foundation will be able to make grants to area non profits to support the emerging, changing and evolving needs of the community, now and into the future.
