Mae E. Sherman Scholarship

Scholarships awarded to Marshall High School graduating seniors seeking a bachelor’s degree. Applicants must show a strong sense of community involvement. The required essay is weighed heavily in the committee’s decision process.

LaVern Smith Scholarship

Scholarships awarded to members of a 4-H or a FFA chapter within Calhoun County. Applicants must be seniors in high school or enrolled in a technical school or college, and under the age of 19 at the time the application is submitted. GPA is not a determining factor.

Frances Stevens Stuart Theater Production Scholarship

Scholarships awarded to Marshall High School graduating seniors or previous MHS graduates who are interested in pursuing studies in theater production such as costume design, stage setting, lighting and sound. Students who receive this scholarship may apply for further support in subsequent years.

Amelia M. Stuart Trevelyan Scholarship

A scholarship awarded to a Marshall High School graduating senior or previous MHS graduate pursuing a career in Art or Art History.  Students who receive this scholarship may apply for further support in subsequent years.

Peter C. Stuart Journalism Scholarship

A scholarship awarded to a Marshall High School graduating senior or previous MHS graduate pursuing a career in journalism or a clearly related curriculum at a four-year institution. Applicants must maintain passing grades for the year of the scholarship. Students who receive this scholarship may apply for further support in subsequent years.

Twist Spartan Scholarship

Scholarships awarded to Marshall High School graduating seniors who show leadership skills and involvement in extra-curricular activities at Marshall High School. Acceptance and eventual enrollment at Michigan State and a minimum 2.5 GPA are required.

UAW Local 220 Scholarship

Scholarships awarded to graduating seniors from Barry, Branch, Calhoun and Eaton Counties who will be attending a trade school, community college and/or a four-year institution. Applicants must demonstrate financial need, leadership skills, involvement in the community and extracurricular activities. A scholarship awarded to a Marshall High School graduating senior who plans to attend a trade school, community college and/or a four-year institution. Applicants must demonstrate community and school involvement, a strong work ethic and financial need. A minimum 2.5 GPA is required.

Beatrice Williams Scholarship

Scholarships awarded to Marshall area graduating seniors or previous graduates pursuing a degree in the field of education at a two- or four-year institution as a full-time student.
