YAC was introduced to me in Marshall Public school system by my peers! From sharing of their experience of wanting to make a difference for Marshall, and or the world it assured me that my first step to make my mark, was to join YAC to make a difference in this world.

Community service means acts of kindness. Kindness is my approach of my everyday life and is a philosophy I follow within my family as it was introduced to me to give back to the community that gives to you.

Mental health is a topic in the range of children to adulthood that has recently come to the point of call of action, as so many have personally felt the decline. Marshall as a community has been impacted by so many changes. It takes a village to support the infrastructure of the people. We are all one of a people. With the decline of mental health in the community, and the world itself in other words, people have had a chance to see what they hear and think what they see, without a supportive unit. Mental support and or mental awareness is a concern and assuring to develop a space where all ages can gather individually and or as a group will establish a healthy release in matters of healing such as coordinated events within the community, speakers from experience to share techniques and planned community events of those whom share similar interests to create local community ties to help one another hurdle any empty nest and or mental hindrance. With these coordinated events as community service and well advertised beforehand, I do find this could increase the decline and provide a quality of life to the quantity of people I would hope to represent of Marshall,Michigan.
